Stoneledge Farm
Stoneledge Farm is an organic family farm in Greene County, New York, located approximately 90 miles from Upper Westchester County. Stoneledge is farmed by Pete and Debby Kavakos and their four children. Debby and Pete are dedicated to sustainable farming.
Stoneledge Farm raises over 45 different organic vegetables and herb varieties each year for CSA members. The farm greenhouse and fields are certified organic by NOFA (Northeast Organic Farming Association.
The weather and climate hold some restrictions, but old favorites and new varieties are planted in abundance for CSA members, freshly havested and delivered to the CSA site on a weekly basis. The weekly share is a full bag of vegetables per week, consisting of 9-12 different organically homegrown vegetables, freshly harvested. The weight of the shares will vary, being lighter in the summer with leafy greens, radishes and sugar snap peas, and building up in mid summer and into fall.
The vegetable and herbs are organically raised following sustainable farming practices using all-natural methods.
Stoneledge Farm has outlets across Westchester county and beyond. If the Buchanan site isn't convenient to your home or work, contact Stoneledge to see whether there's an outlet that works better for you.
